First Third are privileged to be working with Danny Fields, first manager of the Ramones, on a high quality hardback volume featuring over 250 photos from his personal archive taken between 1976 – 1977. The photos are enhanced by Fields’ own commentary and memories, bringing new insight to the band’s formative years.
The majority of these images have never been seen before and they give a rare insight into the lives of the band on tour, backstage and recording their first album. Fields accompanied the band across Europe and AMERICA, photographing them at work and during more informal moments, making this book an important and unique record of a band that has become one of the best known and loved in the last four decades of music history.
